'CK Academy, in partnership with the Skills for Life Network, have developed a new Skills for Life strategy to ensure their students have the numeracy and literacy skills they require to work in the health and fitness industry. The health and fitness training provider has been working in partnership with the Skills for Life Network to devise individual student learning strategies, allowing students to focus on their numeracy and literacy skills.
CK Academy's Technical Manager, Louise David, says: 'These changes have been piloted on our CYQ Level 2 Gym Instructor courses and have been extremely successful'. CK Academy has developed a range of resources to help students with numeracy and literacy difficulties develop their skills to ensure they are able to complete theory studies and enjoy their careers in the health and fitness industry'
