The Academy came about largely through our desire to work with fitness professionals who had the all important technical expertise and great customer service skills. Individuals like us, who believe that if you are going to do a job why not stand out from the crowd!  So we decided to offer the very best in training and qualifications, to walk the talk and deliver to the best of our ability.

We started with that vision years ago now and our philosophy has remained , although times may change and health and fitness is certainly a dynamic and fast moving industry, the Academy still believe that treating people as we ourselves would like to be treated and having a personal individual service is what sets us apart. So although we cannot necessarily tell what the future holds as our industry evolves and grows, our vision remains steadfast and is underpinned by our strap line – ‘Integrity~Inspiration~Innovation’

The Academy is passionate about our team! We carefully select the expertise we need in our field, we only work with like minded professionals and then of course we are obsessive about our own personal development and education. Add to the mix the fact that we are regarded as pioneers and experts in our industry and you have an unrivalled team, all passionate about building relationships with students, clubs, centres and all those who commission its services.

We have a depth of experience that is envied throughout the health and fitness industry - that encompasses many years of operations running clubs and centres, teaching classes, delivering personal training and exercise referral programmes.

We represent our industry in a variety of different settings including:

Skills Active – The Sector Skills Council for Active Leisure and Learning – Skills Active Fitness Employers (SAFE) and the Technical Expert Group (TEG).
